Helping you regain full and pain-free movement
Back & Neck
Back and neck pain can arise from poor posture, prolonged desk work, injury, muscle tension, disc-related issues, or stress-related movement patterns. A thorough assessment helps identify the underlying cause, allowing treatment to focus on pain relief, restoring mobility, improving strength, and preventing recurring flare-ups.
Breast Cancer
Mastectomy is the medical term for the surgical removal of one or both breasts, partially or completely. A mastectomy is usually carried out to treat breast cancer. Post-operatively, the scar tissue and pain results in loss of function of arm movement. In some cases, lymph nodes might be removed which leads to painful swelling around the arms and poor circulation in the body.
Chronic Pain
Chronic pain often persists beyond normal tissue healing and can affect movement, sleep, mood, and overall quality of life. Treatment focuses on understanding pain patterns, improving function, calming an overactive nervous system, and helping patients regain confidence in movement through evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.
Sports Injuries
Sports injuries can affect both professional athletes and recreational exercisers, often involving muscles, ligaments, tendons, or joints. Treatment aims to reduce pain, support tissue healing, restore strength and mobility, and safely guide individuals back to activity with reduced risk of re-injury.
Headaches
Many headaches are linked to muscle tension, neck stiffness, poor posture, jaw tension, or stress-related physical strain. Physiotherapy treatment can help identify contributing factors, reduce muscular tension, improve movement, and provide strategies to help manage recurring headaches.
Sports Massage
Sports massage can assist with muscle recovery, reduce tension, improve circulation, and support flexibility before or after physical activity. It can benefit both athletes and active individuals by helping to reduce muscle fatigue, improve recovery times, and enhance overall performance.

Today was my 1st time having physiotheraphy after I completed chemotherapy in Feb 2020 & radiation April 2020. I did not realise how much pain I had in my right arm, Cheryl Gaynor could instantly determine the pain I was in. Thank you Cheryl you were great. Thank you Jasmine Batchelor

I saw Cheryl for only one session a few years ago following an operation removing a lymph node under my arm. I had strange symptoms following the operation and Cheryl knew exactly what it was and as she had predicted in the session was able to sort it out after only one session with her. I was really impressed and am eternally grateful to her for her huge amount of experience with breast/lymph node issues, her compassion and successful treatment... read more of my problem so quickly. Thankyou Cheryl. I would highly recommend her.
