Helping you regain full and pain-free movement
Back & Neck
Whether you wake up with a painful neck or you hurt your back with a twisting motion, physiotherapy can help you. Neck and back pain can occur suddenly, like a locked facet joint or a sprained muscle, or it can build up over years, as is the case with arthritis. Our physios are highly trained to treat your back pain.
Breast Cancer
Mastectomy is the medical term for the surgical removal of one or both breasts, partially or completely. A mastectomy is usually carried out to treat breast cancer. Post-operatively, the scar tissue and pain results in loss of function of arm movement. In some cases, lymph nodes might be removed which leads to painful swelling around the arms and poor circulation in the body.
Chronic Pain
Chronic pain is often defined as any pain lasting more than 12 weeks. Whereas acute pain is a normal sensation that alerts us to possible injury, chronic pain is very different. Chronic pain persists—often for months or even longer. Chronic pain may arise from an initial injury, such as a back sprain, or there may be an ongoing cause, such as illness.
Sports Injuries
Sports injuries can happen to anyone. Young and old, big and small, fit and unfit. Whether you are training for a marathon or you enjoy occasional golf, our physiotherapists are trained to assess and treat your injury. Sports injuries are divided into acute and chronic injuries. Acute pain is a sudden onset of pain for example a muscle tear or a ligament sprain. Chronic pain is usually due to overuse of the body, for example, tennis elbow or runner’s knee.
Headaches
Headaches are one of the most common causes of pain and reduced quality of life. Tension headaches, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, and neck-related headaches can often be effectively treated with physiotherapy. Through a detailed assessment, we identify whether muscles, joints, posture, or jaw dysfunction may be contributing to your symptoms, allowing us to provide targeted, evidence-based treatment to help reduce pain and improve daily function.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is dedicated to improving sports performance, boosting flexibility and handling injuries or potential injuries. It is typically limited to serious athletes, such as those who train most days of the week for a professional, collegiate or high-school- level sport. These clients might use massage as a part of pre- or post-game warm-ups to reduce the likelihood of muscle cramping.

I began seeing Cheryl about 10 months after my right breast mastectomy and full axillary clearance. At that stage, I honestly didn’t know how important lymph drainage, cording treatment, and muscle care are after surgery. It was only through Cheryl that I came to understand how critical these treatments are - not just for recovery, but for long-term quality of life. Cheryl’s approach is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She helped me understand the connection between lymphatic drainage, cording management, swelling reduction,... read more and regaining movement. Since starting treatment, the swelling in my arm has reduced noticeably, and I have regained almost full mobility in my arm and shoulder. Many people, like myself, are unaware of the role that lymph drainage, cording treatment, and post-surgical muscle care play in recovery. I truly believe this needs more awareness, as it can make such a difference in not only the healing process but also for long term quality of life. Cheryl’s expertise has been invaluable to me, and I would strongly encourage anyone recovering from similar surgery to seek this type of care as early as possible. It can change your recovery journey completely.
